Allan Buist

Allan graduated with an LL.B. from Osgoode Hall Law School. Prior to attending law school, Allan obtained his B.A. in Sociology from McMaster University. He was called to the Ontario Bar in 1998 and has been with DCA Lawyers since 2000. Allan is recognized by clients and colleagues as a leader in the land development and construction bar. His extensive knowledge and experience of the land development and construction industry allows him to dive deep into his clients’ projects from start to finish. He is able to effectively quarterback all of the members of a development team to ensure that projects get out of the ground on the right footing and completed on-time and on-budget.

Allan loves living in downtown Hamilton Centre with his wife and children. Outside of the office, Allan enjoys using the skills and experience learned in his practice while participating on various not-for-profit boards and committees throughout the city.
